Different Invitation Bases

*Note*

Today's post includes a table, and may be best read on a computer rather than mobile device. Although it may be fine- it's a bit hard to tell until I've had chance to look at it myself!

Invitations are an essential part of any wedding- after all, they convey all the necessary information about your big day to your friends and family; without them, no one will know where to be and when!

Of course, the design of your invitations is important (it' a great place to introduce your colour scheme and/or design themes), and there are lots available.

However today, I will be discussing the 4 main styles of invitation that all of my design collection are available on

'But Rosie, why do you have 4 different styles of invitation?', I hear you ask

Good question

Well, as much as the design of the invitation will be unique to each couple (even if it's just changing the colours), so is the amount of information they want to include

  • Some people just want to include the basic details, trusting that everyone will be able to work out all the finer details of how to get there themselves… and that's fine
  • Some people like to include a little bit of extra information, whether it's a gift list or transport/accommodation details, and maybe even a special RSVP for the guests to return… and that's fine
  • Some people want to make sure that their guests have all the information they could possibly need when it comes to attending the wedding, and choose to include the details of the venue etc, a gift list, extra information like transport, accommodation, directions, and an RSVP… and you know what? That's fine too

Basically, here at Little Vixen Designs, I want to help make sure that your invitations are perfect for you. You are a unique couple, and your invitations should be tailored to suit your requirements in terms of design and functionality

But, I also want to help you make informed choices about your invitations- after all, this is probably the first time you've planned a wedding, and being asked to make decisions on things you may not fully understand isn't fair (I know I hate trying to make a decision on something I'm not 100% sure I know what I'm looking at)

So, I've created a table that details in simple terms what each style of invitation includes, as well as a rough guide on price (this will vary depending on the design, but this is to show which is the least/most expensive option for the design)

I hope that helps! If you have any questions or anything you'd like to discuss with me, please drop me a line at info@littlevixendesigns.co.uk and I'll be happy to help :)
